This rare Ford pickup truck comes from the pre-F1 pickup era, the first F1 pickup truck was presented in the year 1948. This stunning 1/2 Ton pickup features the 'waterfall' or 'jail bar' grille which was common on Ford cars of that styling period. 78.088 cars of this model have been built in 1946, nowadays these pickups are rare even in the USA. This car was sold new in the USA. This pickup truck was restored to show condition in the USA and the car has won several show prices in the past. The names of all owners from new are known. In the year 1998 the car was shipped from Olney Illinois to the Netherlands as the car was added to a collection. Currently this fine Ford pickup is in superb (excellent+) condition! With some optical detailing under the bonnet the car can be brought to show condsition! The V8 engine runs very smooth and the 3-speed gearbox shifts perfectly. This is a fantastic classic truck to own, to show on events or to add to a collection.
