Austin Motor
Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motorshow" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey. Six cylinder
engine Austin Healey 3000 Mk II (BT7), year 1961. Chassis number : H-BT7-L/16718, engine number: 29E-RU-H/3157, body number: 16837, matching numbers. Colour Primrose yellow with a black leather interior trimmed with yellow piping. Black vinyl soft top and tonneau cover. This breath taking Austin Healey was perfectly and professionally 'body off' restored by the world known specialist Heinz Moser from Gmünden, Austria (Healey Factory). The automobile is in pristine concours (show) condition and the car drove only 200 kilometres ever since. The restoration was meticulously carried out to factory original specifications. The only alterations are the Healey Factory engraved aluminium rocker cover and the side exhaust. This Healey features chrome wire wheels, tonneau cover and overdrive. The car comes with Heritage certificate and log book. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the fine Healey's restored by the late Heinz Moser in immaculate show condition!
