Donald Healey built the Healey with Austin parts which was ideal for the step Austin took. Austin Motor Co. saw the Healey as the perfect answer on Triumphs successful TR sports car which sold very well in the United States.

The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey

This tremendous, matching numbers, Healey 3000 Mk I BN7 was extensively restored a few years ago. The automobile is in superb (excellent++) condition, near concours! The car comes with documentation, a Heritage certificate and a photo reportage of the restoration. This rare BN7 two seater sports 72 spoke chrome wire wheels and a stainless Steel exhaust. A very desirable 'Big Healey'!
