Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motor show" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey Six-cylinder
engine Austin Healey 3000 Mk I, year 1960. Colour black with a red leather interior trimmed with black piping. Black mohair soft top, tonneau cover and aluminium side screens. This is a rare BN7 two seater model, Chassis number HBN7L/6463. This fantastic Healey was extensively restored to perfection a few years ago. Currently the odometer reads 5493 km. During restoration this automobile was modified for long drivers. People up to two meters length (around 6.5 ft.) fit snugly behind the steering wheel! The automobile looks completely like new, this Austin Healey is in superb (excellent++) condition, near concours! The car features chrome wire wheels, a MotoLita wooden steering wheel, aluminium rocker cover, TomTom connection, high capacity radiator, Stainless Steel exhaust, 6 blade cooling fan, aluminium petrol tank, oil cooler, oil filter modification, shock damper conversion at front, automatic Kenlow fan, badge bar, additional driving lamps and overdrive.
