Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motor show" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey Six-cylinder
engine Austin Healey 3000 Mk I (BT7 'four seater'), year 1960. Chassis number: H-BT7-L/6642, Engine number: 29D-RU-H/9343. Colour silver metallic with a red leather interior and black enameled wire wheels. Black vinyl soft top and aluminium side screens. This fantastic Austin Healey was imported from America in the year 2002. The automobile was extensively restored in the Netherlands, the restoration finished in 2012. A photo reportage of the restoration is present. This fine Healey is in concours (show) condition. Since the restoration the car has driven 4.644 kilometres. This Healey sports wire wheels, overdrive, a leather sports steering wheel and a KM scale odometer. Upgrades: high torque starter motor, oil filter modification, high capacity radiator, 5 bladed fan, aluminium petrol tank, petrol filer cap with lock.
