  • 1962, sold new to Giordani. Shortly thereafter sold to Jacques Swaters, Garage Francorchamps, Belgium.

  • 1963, imported into Belgium by Jacques Swaters, Garage Francorchamps.

  • 1963, 29 Apr., Jean Paul van Gyssel, Belgium, first Belgium owner. Delivered on this date by Garage Francorchamps.

  • 1963, 30 Jun., Mr. Bruyelles with a birth date of 03 Aug 1939 received a speeding ticket from just outside of Paris, France in this GTE.

  • 1973, Jack Cantile bought the car for $3,800 from a used car lot in Richmond, Virginia. The car came from Georgetown in Washington, DC from a man who needed money for Dental school. It had ratty gray paint and a rough red interior.” During the teardown for restoration Jack found the speeding ticket mentioned above. “It took me 10 years and $11,000 to rebuild the car and bring it back to life. Rebuilt the car from the ground up and painted it black metallic with a saddle tan interior.” As per e-mail of 19 May 2004 from Jack Cantile to the 250 GTE Registry.

  • 1989, 10 July, owned by Ken A. MacDowell, Strongsville, Ohio 41136. On Ohio plates 322 UHZ. Black/tan. Photographed.

  • 1995, 27 May – 24 June, for sale in FML by Ken MacDowell. Black metallic with tan interior. Borranis. Perfect restoration. 70,000 km.

  • 1996, 3 Feb. – 17 Aug., for sale in FML by Ken MacDowell. Black metallic with tan interior. Borranis. Perfect restoration. 70,000 km.

  • 1996, September, with RUM Classics, Madison, Wisconsin. LHD. Black metallic/tan. 42,000 mi, excellent condition. Ref.: 30 Jul 96 FML. Also pictured in Hemmings: 1963 model, all books and tools. Ref.: Sep 96 Hemmings.

  • 1997, 08 Nov., offered as dark blue with tan. Wire wheels. Good older restoration showing use.

  • 1999. 02 June, registered to last owner, Owings Mills, Maryland.

  • 2002, 12 Sept., serviced by Grand Touring Inc., 14232 Cherry Lane Court, Laurel, Maryland, 20707. Repaired emergency brake. Total invoice: $240.80.

  • 2003, 06, June, serviced by Grand Touring Inc. Replaced and re-plated fuel and oil lines. Rebuilt ignition switch. Rebuilt rear shocks. New differential fluid. Rebuilt rear fuel filter. Cadmium plated fuel system fittings. Changed engine oil and filters and transmission oil. New front suspension bump stops. New oil lines. Safety wired underside of car. Fitted new backup light switch. Replaced rubber shift boot. Cleaned and polished all four Borrani wire wheels. Total invoice: $6,902.70.

  • 2004, 26 Mar., serviced by Grand Touring Inc. Changed oil and filters. New spark plugs. Rebuilt heater valves. Tuned engine, balanced carbs. Rebuilt and reset distributors, new bearings and points, re-curved distributor advances. Total invoice: $4,796.12.

  • 2006, 23 May, serviced by Grand Touring Inc. Flushed gas tank. Replaced rear trailing arm bushings and bump stops. Rebuilt water pump. Total invoice: $4,955.04.

In recent years the car was sold to the Netherlands. After full inspection and service this Ferrari 250 GTE is now available for sale.
