The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider was the successor of the Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider (1958-1961) and was created by Carrosseria Touring from Milan. The bodies of the 2000 en de 2600 Spider are identical. The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider saw the light of day in the year 1962.
The car is equipped with an aluminium-alloy six cylinder engine. This masterpiece of Alfa Romeo engineering shows double overhead camshafts and produces 145 bhp. at 5900 rpm.
The car is equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox and disc brakes at the front wheels.
Unlike the smaller Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider the 2600 Spider has two small seats in the back. The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider is a very nice touring convertible with a very inspiring engine and a luxurious/ sporty but comfortable interior.
A very pretty Italian motorcar.

Information

Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider, year 1965. Colour grey with a red leather interior. This beautiful Alfa Romeo was sold new in the USA. Currently the car is registered in the Netherlands. The automobile is in very original and very good condition. Over the last years the bodywork and the interior were restored. The bright work was newly chromed and the dashboard gauges were overhauled. Renewed were amongst others the hood, tires (Michelin X), the exhaust and clutch. Invoices of all the work carried out are present. This Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider drives delightful and the engine sounds fantastic!
